The smell of freshly baked bread down Maypole Lane draws you into one of the few rural craft bakers still in existence in the UK. Our bakery goods have a reputation for their unique fresh taste around Warwickshire and Staffordshire.
Established in 1919 by Grandad Gayton, the bakery has been kept going through thick & thin, by the one & only Gayton family. His grandson & granddaughter keep his traditions alive and produce the finest handmade crafted bread & cakes.
With this new web technology it is now possible for you to share the wonderful experience of how proper bread & cakes are made!
We would love you all to come and see the bakery for yourself and take in the smell of freshly baked bread.
Grandad Gaytons other daughter Sarah, has recently returned to her roots and set up her own rural bakery in the heart of the Peak District.
Her company 'Taste of the Moorlands' has just celebrated its first year in existence!
Come & Experience the wonderful baking of the Gayton family.
